This image is a composite of all the meteors captured during a summer night capturing the Milky Way rising over Picketpost Mountain, in Superior, Arizona. If you look closely, you can see vapor trails coming off of a meteorite which exploded and left stunning vapor trails which expanded across the sky over the next several minutes.
